Centre Square

The variations of 'Centre Square' design are part of the 'Folded Forms' series. These objects are formed by a combination of digitally controlled and manual processes. After a CNC router has cut a pattern I designed into the flat aluminium composite material I manually form it into a 3D form. The surface treatment translates the appearance from the industrial to the manually crafted object. This aluminium composite sheet material is lightweight, durable and colourfast, all qualities ideally suited for creating lasting individually designed works.
